They are not a government entity, so they can do what they want. Having said that, all other things being equal it's another reason I would choose another airline over AS. But all things not being equal, I wouldn't change my plans. The alleged lawsuit discussed in this thread (7 years ago, I guess) was offensive. Jewish people are not "de facto praying" by reading a card. What was the outcome of this suit (if it really existed)?
