Saw a suggestion to watch a Nonstop Dan video and immediately thought of our friend Josh.... Based on the titles of his more recent videos, it looks like he's moving into the grievance and annoyance spaces with a touch of clickbait-y.... If another airline or country doesn't have a go at him soon, I would be surprised.

Add voiceover for the parts of the video with no commentary. Voiceover has been a common technique for documentaries such as the old Mutual of Omaha wildlife videos.

Definitely - you can record yourself while watching video playback on a monitor or other device. Then use iMovie to blend the voice with the video. Easy and fun!

I still don't care for the cringe/persona in Noel Philips' (paging TCASAlert) videos (though it's not nearly as much as it used to be), but damn he makes some cool content. I've found myself over the last couple of weeks catching up on his videos almost every day. The cringe factor is definitely there, but otherwise they're very interesting videos. The AA Landline bus extravaganza and Dutch Harbor trips are highlights in recent memory.

Jeb Brooks' videos are still terrific but they are getting longer and longer. I don't always have enough time to watch a whole video of his and some of them are now in my "Watch Later" playlist.

Greatly appreciating everyone's feedback / perspective. Balancing the need to be informative while respecting the fact that a viewer's time is precious is definitely a challenge. I continue to take it all into consideration when producing; sometimes it works, other times not so much. I'm a fan of both Noel and Jeb - TrekTrendy, too.

Personally, I'm a little tired of the comparison videos. I mean they're helpful (kinda) if all you fly are US-based airlines. But if you don't, then it's starting to get boring. Do some comparison flights of the ME3 for example... or asian biggies...

I enjoy the location education vlogs like Drew binsky doing lists of interesting foods and culture lessons. Plus that Simon guy who goes to North Korea and other “dangerous” places I won’t visit. The location videos are more fun than plane videos.

I'm a big fan of Flip Flop Traveler, mainly for his hotel reviews but his flight reviews are also very good. Also Dennis Bunnik who I've met several times in person, he's a very nice person and is in the travel business.

I enjoyed Flip Flop until he took it upon himself to lecture a Lufthansa crew on how they handled a safety briefing. Even if the crew may not have followed procedure, it’s a whole new level of arrogance to assume the role of a federal regulator and scold professionals in their workplace.

"Flight Formula" has recently started popping up on my feed and I'm posting to say that the channel is pretty good IMO. In addition to the standard seat, IFE, food, and lav content, he tries to deliver some sort of knowledge (e.g. why Airbus regrets owning the A220 line) in every video. So, if you've gotten bored by watching videos about Etihad's Residence (that are all the same), you might want to give him a look.
