I enjoy FFT videos, excluding his bizarre speaking style with the exaggerated pauses and forced stuttering. So strange.
But what i like best is his cinematography. ALWAYS keeps the camera on the product/space he's reviewing instead of his own face. What's with these narcissists who keep the camera pointed at themselves for significant amounts of time instead of on the content they're covering? |
ugh so disruptive, feel for you there

Sorry, this is kind of off-topic for the thread title, but I once met a travel vlogger at the Louvre, while waiting in the ticket queue. He was quite polite and unassuming, and he was not constantly videoing. I never thought to ask what his channel or platform was.
Does anyone know a Korean vlogger who visited the Louvre last summer? |
Not quite on topic but this makes me giggle. There is one youtuber who goes on about how rich her husband is and their magnificent millionaire lifestyle in Dubai. One video had snippits of their alleged international travel and the 6 figures they spend regularly, then shows an Emirates plane and them sitting in business class! They tried to hide it with their angles and quick views but when you know all the gold in F you know they are not sitting in F. lol

That's exactly why I can't watch those cruise tips videos from Gary Bembridge anymore; he loves showing his own face and body, and most of those footage are recycled. I do like the FFT but his last series have dragged too much specially with lots of videos focusing in one or two hours flights of little to no interest He is also getting more pedantic which has been the case with a lot of bloggers as they gain populatory. But overall most of his content and videos are very solid. |
Nyt has an article about bloggers sharing their tsa trays which also indicates their lack of tsa pre. Imagine more wasted time at tsa as people waste time setting up a photoshoot during a busy and potentially stressful situation.

Also they can do this after going through the scanner, it would not bother anyone at all. Well, maybe only those who don't know how to mind their own business. So no, I can't imagine. |

It is unlikely that any TSA agent will allow this in the screening area. It causes too many disruptions and if filmed, someone is going to get a talking to.

Pretty easy, and probably easier, to create this somewhere else other than at an airport. Few quid spent on a suitable plastic box from a DIY store and you're ready to go.

Found this thread today. Completely agree with the concerns/comments here. As someone who recently launched a channel, I'm always mindful of my surroundings/fellow travelers. Last thing I want to do is make anyone uncomfortable. Film with iPhone only and absolutely no commentary (which probably means fewer viewers in the end if you believe what the 'experts' recommend).
