I assume this is why the FAs grudgingly open the can before sullenly handing it over. Pretty useless as a projectile when it's open.

(Besides which, if I want a projectile I'll just buy something in the terminal.)

So, I guess it sounds like we should be posting incidents when we were refused.

I fly mainly Southwest and I can't ever recall being denied. I recall being politely declined once on another airline, but I can't remember if it was foreign or US based airline. Suffice it to say, it's an extremely rare occurrence for me.

DL seems to vary by the FA, but I rarely ask for a full can myself. On my last trip, I was 2 for 5 on getting a full can. Maybe I should ask more often...
