Where does the KVS tool get its data and is KVS authorized to provide this data in the manner it is presented?

The tool is known to access a variety of web sites, many in a manner that is not authorized. Please see the next section of this Wiki for a list of sites believed to be accessed and their data access policies (where known).

Additionally, under some conditions the tool appears to access sites via a KVS-operated back end. This means that the tool is not just a 'web browser' that runs via a user's machine. No detailed public information is available about how this works or whether any of this back-end access is authorized.

i'm looking for award avail on an early morning usair flight which won't show up with standard star avail search. when i use sabre and put in a time it shows up, but which classes are the first/bus/econ award classes when looking on sabre?

that doesn't make sense, lots of flights that have no availability do show up, why would this one in particular not show?

ANA doesn't see that flight.

That explains why the tool isn't showing it. Doesn't explain why they don't see it, but that's why it isn't showing up in the search.

The UA flight never will; that's just a codeshare on the US metal.

This has now been confirmed to be an issue with the *A engine and/or StarNet and is likely related to the very early departure time for the flights in question...

Flight AC872 appears twice - once with no availability in classes U, H, Q, V, W, etc., and a second time with 7-9 seats in each of those classes.

Also, flight AC876 does not appear at all. Any suggestions? (... or, what am I doing wrong?)
