I've let the team know about this -- we're looking into it.

For my Marriott account (formerly SPG), Award Wallet shows points will expire in 5 months. Yet, there was points activity last month and this month as well. Activity earned via Amex SPG card. I thought with the merger, points expire in 24 months of *no activity*?
For my roomate's SPG account, last activity was 2/8/18. Yet, Award wallet says "unknown" for expiration date (but in the "history tab" it does see the activity from 2/8/18) ?? 1) your account not updating since that last time we grabbed a date 2) Your account is not displaying this last activity date. If neither is the case, please reach out to support directly: https://awardwallet.com/contact https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9d0bc8e75a.png |

I'll check this afternoon and let you know. It's probably Marriott (LOL), although I was confused by the "history" in Award Wallet that listed the activity, as I thought it would pull from there. Thanks again! |

Understandable. Marriott is one of the programs where we calculate expiration based on what they tell us (qualifying activity) and then we calculate out. Given how many types of activity that they have that are not "qualifying" this is the safest approach for us.
That makes sense. Plus it's more accurate. |

AwardWallet calculates your expiration date based on what Marriott indicates your last qualifying activity is -- you should be able to see that date here: https://www.marriott.com/rewards/myAccount/activity.mi. If the date we're displaying is incorrect it is likely due to either:
1) your account not updating since that last time we grabbed a date 2) Your account is not displaying this last activity date. If neither is the case, please reach out to support directly: https://awardwallet.com/contact https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9d0bc8e75a.png "the date of your last qualifying activity was BLAH" So looks to be option #2 , which is obviously a Marriott problem. If I change the filter to "qualifying activity" it shows the same info as "all types" But the actual wording (like in your screenshot) is missing. It simply says: "Latest Activity" In my case, I had a Marriott account and a Starwood account and merged them PRIOR to the "upgrade/merger" of both programs. Roomate never had a Marriott account, so his was auto-merged or whatever from SPG. But at least this explains why the expiration date isn't updated/reflected in Award Wallet because for some reason Marriott doesn't have the wording. The points, BTW, in both cases were earned via the Amex SPG cards (bonus and spends). |

Ok, we just forced an update on your account and it looks to have updated. We also manually disabled the use of affiliate links (a setting in your profile which you can change), in case an ad-blocker was doing something funky.
Can you try again? I wouldn't expect the balance to change given the successful update that just happened, but the Hilton window should pop up, and it should log you in or at least prompt you to click sign in. If that doesn't happen, we'll need to escalate this. It could be a browser/extension problem too -- but past my ability troubleshoot. |

For months, I've been unable to update Hilton. The browser window that would open would error out with a long "ad.doubleclick.net... URL might be down...etc." I disabled affiliate links and it works now.

Browser extension
Does anyone have info about what the browser extension actually does? What info does it scrape from normal browsing activities etc?
Can't find anything on the FAQ. |

Can't find anything on the FAQ. Basically, all I do in that profile is update. |
Is it just me or have we not been able to earn AA miles anymore for commenting on the Blog?

Is IHG account sync currently broken?
|
A couple of days ago Award Wallet started having an issue with my Membership rewards (Amex) accounts. A window pops up and It says Amex is sending me a code that I need to enter. Sometimes the code never shows up. If I go log into my account on my own, I don't get this pop up. Anyone seen this or is there a way I can just enter the balances manually?

Am I the only one who gets more credit card pitches than balance updates from AwardWallet?
|
Yes there seems to be issues. Only a handful of my accounts get balance updates. Hilton is the worst of the bunch. |
