Black model unavailable, for those that are interested. Silver model reported as in-stock.

was about to call B&H Photo to ask for pricematch, but just realized it's
Saturday and they're closed. (some of my people are very devout and
observe it.. which I respect enormously )

I hope Buydig's QC35 still shows in-stock by the time I call B&H.

I've been using the QC35 for the past 2 weeks to listen to late night television without keeping others up, and they've been working very well for this purpose. Easy to connect and good audio without any noticeable latency. They're also much more comfortable than the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0's that I bought and returned due to ear discomfort.

Do they get warm after an hour or two of use? What's the average distance
that you can be away without the Bluetooth connection breaking up?

Thanks!

I haven't noticed them getting warm. I have to take them off for a minute or so every 1-2 hours to eliminate the pressure feeling. For me, they work well to 30' + 1 wall away. Then a second wall intervenes and the sound breaks up.

(slight offtopic)

but if you have a favorite pair of wired headset (eg QC25), there are ways to "convert" them into bluetooth like the devices below (not ideal, since you have to charge both QC25 and the device below)

QC20s are much easier to sleep in with my head sideways on the pillow when in a flatbed seat. Sitting up or reclined I actually like the over the ear better.

I used to do that and my ENT doc said I was funding his new boat.

I was in Target yesterday and they had the QC20's on sale for $249 ($50 off). Not surprising given Bose have already announced the QC30's as coming out next month, but especially if you don't want wireless only this could be a good deal...

Same price on Amazon too it seems. http://amzn.to/2aGo4HO

I recently used my new QC35s on a trip.

Firstly, who knew the 757-200 was so darn loud? The Bose handled this noise very well.

An underrated feature is the lack of a wire. If I just look at a wire it will immediately tangle, so the wireless nature of these things made my life much, much easier.

It's kind of cool being able to use the bathroom inflight without taking the things off, and without missing whatever you're listening too.

The battery lasts forever too. I think I used these for about 8 hours total and I'm still at 70% battery remaining.

Note too, you can fit a Kindle Paperwhite into the bag, so with a phone and the headphone bag, I have everything I need at my seat.

I appreciate the review, but isn't the lack of a wire THE primary feature of these headphones?

On that note, though, I do love the Bluetooth adapter for my QC25's. Agree with all your points and benefits of not having a wire in the way.
