Ah I forgot, you had said Note 2 somewhere else. That's what I have, and am actually considering the 6 Plus, especially after Samsung's lackluster Note 4 reveal last week.

There are indeed two versions.

The battery life on the iPhone 6+ looks amazing and Apple is usually pretty good at giving out the battery info. I was hoping that the phone would be waterproof like most of the flagship Androids, but I guess it doesn't. I have a feeling that the iPhone 6+ spec is really not that amazing once people opened it up and found out what they are.

I'm quite disappointed that Apple Pay will only work in the US at launch. I wonder what are their merchant fees and how they actually process payments...

To be fair: the Apple Watch is leaps ahead of what was released by Motorola and LG this week. Whether it's worth the extra cash is the question.

Unless these watches were to have stand alone call/messaging capabilities over at least a wifi network and pair with an ear piece, I can't see myself buying anything like this. If I were closer to the geriatric ward or needed to be OCD about weight gain, then maybe I would find it more useful.

Ugly phones. Just ugly.

A big step backwards for Apple aesthetically.

And the specs vs. the Note 4 makes the 6+ look kinda pathetic. Same for the 6 vs. the G5

I know, I know - they will still sell a billion of 'em.

I will watch the keynote tonight instead of my evening TV. Apple has increased what it has put out this year and has clearly borrowed the more compelling features from Android. They appear, however, to stuck to their formula of rolling out well thought out features rather than the "Ginzu knife" approach. I remember with older versions of Corel Draw how Corel through more and more stuff into the box but half of it wasn't very good.

When our favorite feature isn't in the newest release we kind of go "oh darn" and look to the Google side of things. I think they did what they needed to do and let's face it there is a bit of a "yawn factor." The hype of an Apple product release is so high, that there is a fallback after the presentation.

The Samsung Gear S is what you are looking for. It has its own SIM slot. It is actually one of the better looking watch too.

Put iOS on the LG G3 and there you got a very nice looking iPhone with superior specs. :p

Any details on the wifi calling features? An Ars article said you had to have both signals (cellular and wifi) which seems odd, but it also promised seamless handoff.

UMA doesn't require the cellular signal to initiate a call, does it?

What does this mean for use of the wifi calling when roaming? Does any cell signal where you have privileges work? Does not having the signal at the time of call initiation mean no handoff, but if you stay on the wifi footprint you are ok?

i have to say I was quite impressed.

I will be getting the 6 Plus next year... or the 6 but either one once my contract is up next year.

Now... I cant wait to see the new ipads and see if the Retina Mini's price drops to where i want it to next month :D

New iPads should have Touch ID and possibly higher resolution, so that they offer more real estate than the 6 Plus?

I have to ask, how are those different from Android designs? Just different sizes? (I have an iPhone 4s)
