IPhone 4S 'buzzing'
My 4S has a 'buzzing' from the earpiece when on a call. Searching the web, it seems like this is a common problem. Unfortunately, threads seem to descend into 'you're an idiot, Apple is perfect'.
This place seems to be a bit more sophisticated. So, anyone on here experiencing the same? If its not common, I'll try and get a replacement.
I had a iPhone 4, and that was fine, albeit on a different network (O2 -> Vodafone)

Did you see this thread on the Apple support forums? It seems pretty common, with many people exchanging the phone and getting another one that does it too.

I agree with the others, I have never seen this issue, but everyones mileage may vary on issues with technology. I would make the appointment, they will most likely replace your phone for you. Just remember to do a full back-up of your phone before you go in, or you could lose data once they take your current phone and give you the new one.
Also, I am assuming you are talking about the phone itself and not a bluetooth, etc. If you are using a headset, I would borrow a friends, sync it to your phone and try it, if it's bad, go in, if it's good, get a new bluetooth.

I have the same problem with the 4S I received last week. If I get a replacement from the Apple store, will I get a brand new unit or a refurbished phone? If I'm going to get a refurbished phone (Verizon is still backordered by weeks), I might as well return it to Verizon and downgrade to the iPhone 4. Battery life still sucks with 5.0.1 anyway.

If you return to the Apple store, you generally get a refurbished unit.

It's the noise cancellation microphone
The noise cancellation microphone (the little hole next to the headset jack) is not automatically disabled on some 4S units when a headset is connected. As a result, it picks up your voice and other sounds as noise and tries to filter it out. After about 20-30 minutes, it totally wigs out.
You definitely want to replace the unit. In the meantime, you can slap a piece of gaffer's tape over the microphone.

In all seriousness, I don't have that issue, so I'd first check with your mobile device group at work, and then if approved take it to your genius bar. I know my company would flip a lid if I swapped out an iPhone at an Apple store. Company policies differ, however.
My 4s seems to have a loose part inside. It feels like something moving when I tap it, but I don't know if it is natural. My 4 doesn't feel like that.

My problem, probably like many others is a battery issue. I've noticed that if I fully charge it at night and unplug it before going to sleep, when I wake up the phone is at 88-92% when I wake up.
I need to get one of those extended battery things that I had for my 3GS.

Are we talking about a light hum/crackle similar to the noise a normal speaker makes when you bring a cell phone close to it?

That's a problem? Wouldn't that give you something like 80 hours of standby time per charge? That seems like more than enough time to me.
