I had a iPhone 4, and that was fine, albeit on a different network (O2 -> Vodafone)

I haven't had any problem like that at all.

My problem, probably like many others is a battery issue. I've noticed that if I fully charge it at night and unplug it before going to sleep, when I wake up the phone is at 88-92% when I wake up.

I need to get one of those extended battery things that I had for my 3GS.
