I agree with the others, I have never seen this issue, but everyones mileage may vary on issues with technology. I would make the appointment, they will most likely replace your phone for you. Just remember to do a full back-up of your phone before you go in, or you could lose data once they take your current phone and give you the new one.
Also, I am assuming you are talking about the phone itself and not a bluetooth, etc. If you are using a headset, I would borrow a friends, sync it to your phone and try it, if it's bad, go in, if it's good, get a new bluetooth.

This place seems to be a bit more sophisticated. So, anyone on here experiencing the same? If its not common, I'll try and get a replacement.
I had a iPhone 4, and that was fine, albeit on a different network (O2 -> Vodafone)
