I am VERY noob to this issue.
My family and I are flying to Montreal from New Orleans on Monday, 11 February 13 for 6 days.
We all have ATT smart phones.
In addition, we have an old i phone 3 and an old iPhone 4 (I guess they are still locked by ATT).
I take it that I can either call ATT or go by a store and get these two phone unlocked.
From there, what can I do with these two phones?
OR, buy a couple of "GO Phones" in Canada? Or some other brand?
-Order Canadian SIMs for the unlocked ATT phones?
-Pick up Canadian SIMS when I get there?
-Then what?
Any links to existing threads or asnwers to these specific CANADIAN threads would be appreciated.

The SIM you use doesn't even need to be active - an old T-Mobile SIM or the like will work fine.

I don't know specifically for the Lumia 900, but normally it's just a matter of putting in a non-AT&T SIM card, at which point it will prompt you for the unlock code. Enter that, and you're away.

Wind and 3 are cheaper but TIM is suppose to have the best coverage.

In the interest of making it easier for people to find country-specific information, I have broken the last few months' posts in this thread into new, country-specific threads. Please search for "Prepaid SIM" and the country you're interested in.
I will also create a Wiki (oooh! aaaah!) with links to country threads.
I'm going to lock this thread now and remove its stickiness.
Thanks for the suggestion, BigFlyer.
