Spotted this in BRU, I think it's due for a repaint

AN-124 At HSV

Russian AN-124 cargo plane at HSV in June, 2015. Not a very good photo as it was shot through a window at the airport.

Very nice!

While departing BRU for LHR yesterday, I saw G-RJXI, an E145 with a white body and Brussels Airlines titles at the front, but the BMI logo on the tail.

I've actually come to realize they're still an airline. Apparently they operate a bit like ExpressJet did when they were independent:

Sorry, no photos but a tip for anybody in the PHX area that might want to shoot something other than the usual 737s, Airbii, etc...

There's been what appears to be a Qatari A340 and a 748 parked for about a week plus now on the Southern side of the airport, can see them from the 10 as you're driving by.

Last weekend overflying my house:

(it came even lower on another occasion - so low, that my 16mm lens was not wide enough.)

Got to SJC last week in time to see their best plane:

Plus, while waiting on a ferry in SF, I saw these two C-5As (I think) flying in formation over the bay:

Good pictures! (although I might disagree on the 'best plane' comment; the 787 may be a technological marvel, but I think it looks like a fish). Regarding your second photo--those are actually C-17s. Giveaway are the winglets.

Argh I was going back and forth between the two and settled on the wrong one! Thanks for letting me know.
