I visited the Honeywell facility and rode on their 752 testbed. Here's a video of the landing. Yes, I was on the flight deck

My brother saw 747-8i at BSL
Hi All,
My brother & his kids saw 747-8i at BSL today. They went to the planespotting. He took a couple pics and a video, as well.
What they are doing in Basel for?

I'm staying at the Radisson next the runways at SMX, and saw a DC-10 sitting on the apron. I was curious so walked over to get a look. It has a huge belly tank, turns out to be a fire retardant delivery plane for wildfires, 11,600 gallons at a time.
Here's the company website.

Kinda cool, something I hadn't seen before. I didn't realize they used planes this big.
(Madone59 suggested I post it in this thread, too.)

Never heard of the charter company Wamos until I saw their 747 parked at EWR earlier this month.
Sitting at Majuro and have to wait 14 min because of "traffic". I was wondering wth was going to come land, was this Hainan 737. I thought that given we were ready to go, doors closed etc that we could have taken off given we were not taking off the direction it was coming in. Then once it was parked next to us I noticed the little Air Marshall Islands was coming in the direction we were leaving.
Couldn't get any closer to the Nauru at Pohnpei.
