FRA-BKK

TG 921 on March 28 appears to be switched from a 380 to a 747. Flying in business, how do I find out what configuration this will be on the 747?

Make a dummy booking and select seats.

Tried that approach but TG921 does not come up as an option to book. I am assuming that with the downgrade in aircraft that there is no additional seats to sell.....

You will get the standard long haul C product, angled lie flat. You are very unlikely to get a 747 with the old recliner configuration, since there aren't that many left, and they do not appear on the FRA route. As to the exact version, 74R or 74N, there will be little difference since you are seated in C rather than F.

Does TG ever place an upgraded 747 on bkk-bom route?

Indeed it has had a couple of test flights recently as well. I will update the first post with a pending comfirmation note. So if anyone flies TGG soon, let me know if the F retrofit is complete. Thanks.

Tango Golf Golf is confirmed 74N.

She's due to run TG641 tomorrow.

Is there any way to predict when the last two planes will go in for rework?

Not really. We just follow Flightradar and see when they stop flying. That is usually an indication that they|re in for some sort of maintenance. And that usually means they retrofit the cabin in the same time. Usually only, as sometimes only the maintenance is done. Let's watch and see.

I see. I'm confused by TGB. It has a weird half entry for TG 951 on the 26th, but that flight was really TGF and there is nothing since. The last flight that was clearly accurate was flying into BKK on the 25th on TG 951.

Looks like data glitch on flightradar that caused flight numbers in the last few entries to mix up but it seems TGB is now in for retrofit.
