Thought with the number of FCL and Spa questions littering this board it might be worth making a sticky with all the available information and also provide a place for members to ask their questions. Please let me know if you think it is a good idea and please let me know if any of the information I have included is wrong or if you feel anything else needs to be added.
Thai Airways Royal First Class Lounge

Royal First Lounge at Concourse D, Level 3 - 1,400 sq.m. has been allocated for Royal First Class passengers with the capacity to accommodate 134 passengers at one time.
Opening hours: 05:00 am. – 01:00 am.
Facilities:
• 2 VIP Rooms
• 6 Private Corners
• 22 Seated A-la-Carte Dining Room
• Wi-fi Internet Corner with 4 PCs
• Slumber Rooms
• Shower Suites
• Toilets with Wheelchair Accessible
• TG First Class Check-in Facility
• Smoking lounge
Lounge access rules:
Departures in TG or *A F from BKK = FCL access
TG F Arrival connecting to international TG C/Y = FCL access
TG F Arrival connecting to *A C = No FCL access
TG F arrival connecting to domestic TG C = officially no FCL access, however some people have been granted access in this situation.
*A F arrival connecting to TG C or *A C = no FCL access
1 guest is allowed when departing in TG F or *A F
Q: If arriving in TG F and departing in TG C the following day, will I get access to the F lounge?
A: Offically the answer is no as you need a same day ticket, however some people have been granted access in this situation. So very much a YMMV situation.
Q: If arriving in TG F and staying in BKK, is it possible to use the TG F lounge as an arrivals lounge?
A: Unfortunately this is not allowed, although exceptions have been made before. So officially it's not allowed, but there is no harm in asking.

• Neck & Shoulder Massage (30 minutes) – This is a great massage for passengers who are stressed, work at the computer too much or don't relax well. Neck and shoulder problems from routine activities are among the most common area for massage therapists to address. Using specific techniques the therapist will work to loosen tight muscles around the neck and shoulders whilst simultaneously assessing how much tension is held in the body and how best to release it. You will board your flight feeling more relaxed and a little lighter on the shoulders.

No guest are allowed regardless of class of travel
Q: Is it possible to book the spa treatment in advance?
A: No. You can book at First class check-in, at the FCL or the Spa itself - they will indicate the approx waiting time if more than a few minutes.

You are entitled to use any *A lounge at BKK so you would have access to both of those lounges. Personally I would recommend the SQ lounge as the food is much superior ^

Hi there ninewise. The answer can be found in the title. You definitely don't have spa access as it is only available to those departing on TG metal.
The standard minimum connection for international to international flights at BKK is 75 mins however it is 70 for certain TG to TG flights.. Let me know which flights you are arriving and departing on and I can tell you if it is a legal connection or not?

Thanks, the flights would be TG 472 (arr 22:15) connecting to LX 181 (dep 23:25). TG 472 actually doesn't operate on the day I'm flying so it's irrelevant for now unless the flight schedules change, which they already have once since I booked it.
What is there to do for 7 hours in the BKK international terminal if I can't go to the spa?? Haha

Actually there is an exception in the MCT for all flights connecting onto LX181 which allows for a 1:10 connection. Thus TG472 to LX181 is legal.

Ahh apologies you are correct, I totally missed that in the list of exceptions. In that case OP I would change to the 70 minute connection ^

Not really, as I wanted to know if arriving on TG C matters. E.g. since I just flew TG C I could be perceived to be more valuable.

Like I said, I wanted to know if there were considerations made if part of the ticket is on TG C. That could be seen by the airline to be more valuable than someone arriving on non-TG C. It can't hurt to ask, and forums are all about where we can ask and go through the closer details of T&Cs. Cheers.

Just visited the Spa and FCL at BKK. They told me that inbound F, outbound C on Star A would suffice for FCL access. In my case I was outbound on TG F anyway.
I was flying the Sunday morning SYD flight so it wasn't exactly busy at the Spa. I simply showed up, after the cart-driving chica dropped me at the door, and they booked me in for 30 mins right away. That's all I had time for.
TG F in the 346 was definitely a good experience. The return from SYD had a full F cabin and although the service was polite, it wasn't as prompt and anticipatory as it had been on the outbound.

The spa is complementary and you will be offered a 30 minute foot or head and neck massage.

Nice one, pogonation, although I did love all the other threads, I did get in, no you can't get in, and all the other alternatives. This is an excellent job, I do wish I had the time and the brains to put something like this together. I can advise that we have made the old Burma an easier place to get around for some with a few of the readies, if you get the time, get there soon.
