Nope, not everything is back yet. The Delta Forum Lounge Thread is showing 1,025,084 views. I know that it passed 1,111,111 views around last weekend, it was up around 1,114,xxx by Tuesday.

We're up to thread id 550,000. Only about another 600,000 to go. Should be a couple more hours, if the script doesn't crash (fingers crossed).

People will continue to receive this the first time they log in (since the data problem) until we rebuild that data. Since we're already rebuilding a bunch of stuff, we probably won't try to run this until the morning.

It has been far too long that "this is being addressed".

Can you give us an estimate for when a competent web provider/service will be in place?

Such rebuilds are a standard background task that's part of vBulletin. Running it on a DB with 10M posts while the system is live would take quite a while. I don't envy the folks who have to keep a board the size of FT functioning.

I got the same message, but it went away after I clicked into another area...

And while I think my PM count is correct (I honestly don't keep track of that...), my date/time is also off.

Yes, this is the first time I got on since the data dump.

...now, if someone could tell me why I'm getting a message from hotmail saying that I don't have an inbox when I've had the danged account for five years (and had an inbox this afternoon!) and can't log into another account (but logged into this afternoon to send a few emails) that is on hotmail, then I'd be happy. But that's not an FT-related problem, so I shouldn't complain too much. ;)

When I logged in a few minutes ago, I noticed this:

"Your Notifications 65,535"

That's a lot of messages. I don't think I have time to read all 65,535.

Wait for the quiz! :)

And right now it says Jan 1 10:32pm as I submit this.

It seems I just missed out all the fun in the IBB FT time travel. Shouldn't have been away from FT for half an day. :p

The only difference I noticed in the morning was invisible mode gone missing, which , in my case, hasn't been fixed yet.

I presume this is the reason why old but still-current threads (such as FAQs) appear to have reverted to versions last updated months ago? I went to update an FAQ this morning and was horrified to discover all of the editing work over recent weeks has vanished!

yep - updated posts are outdated - e.g. my attendee list for the franconian do shows "last update 31.Dec 08" - i have updated the post yesterday ... :td:
my private mail count is also wrong ... yesterday it was 50 unread messages - today it is 33 ...

Kiwi Flyer Apr 10, 2009 4:05 am

I don't see this mentioned above but I've lost ad-free FT. I'm guessing it is because my Insider Flyer subscription was renewed in January (my subscriptions showing threads from then)? Needless to say on this slow connection FT + ads is crawling.

If that happens on ho'mail, be very concerned. There's a scam going on where hackers take control of the account, change the PW, use it for a really nasty run (the send an e-mail to your address book claiming you're in trouble and need some money fast), then redirect, delete your mailboxes, and dump the account.

My last visit is right, but I have a mysterious unread Private Message....

Oddly enough, most of the problems have disappeared for me except that I'm still getting bogus notifications and a delayed time, i.e.
