Thanks for the heads up, it sounds like the search db was a bit behind, but it seems it is caught up now. Thanks,

This Forum Takes a LONG Time to Load

Why does this forum take such a long time to load? I have noticed this for quite a long period of time (over 1 year). Even on a T2 connection, the pages can take a few minutes to load. It would seem like server bog down, but is that possible as I am sure this forum has decent bandwidth?? Any thoughts?

I could not log onto FlyerTalk for at least a couple of hours.

I finally was successful using an old Apple Macintosh blue-and-white G3 computer operating System 9.2.2.

Go figure...

There have been many threads on this slowness in several forums and it appears that the FT snails-pace gremlin has struck yet again.

I had the same problem on a lounge computer (uses IE). Wouldn't accept my login.

Ironically, this is the only page that will display for me. All other threads I can't get beyond the listings to read the posts. I get a "this page cannot be displayed" eventually.

Absolutely glacial for the last hour.

Last 3 pages loads were: 59, 38, and 37 seconds.

Similar here. I wonder if this has anything to do with reported viruses on this forum?

Ditto here.

Edited to add: I just fixed this for everybody. As soon as I posted it's loading quickly again.
