fast and slow for me as well in s.f when it's fast, it's fast but when it's slow, it's very very very slow.

At times it's seemed that it's more than slow, rather like the server(s) hiccupping or going off-line for 1-2 mins. at a time. An earlier report I thought I had posted in this thread to that effect this a.m., never made it to the FT server.

Same behavior that the previous poster describes is still occuring. FT will zip along and then all of a sudden it's like molasses running uphill for a couple of minutes.
