I logged in on my old wap 1.0 device again while outside the us. Now I am stuck with the yucky black+white super basic version of ft wap even though I am using my crackberry again. Eek! I hate it when it does this!

When I view mobile FT using my BlackBerry, the left hand margin for the text in each post appears to be set by the poster's name at the top of the post. So I end up with a long, narrow column of text at the right hand side of the page. This ha not been a problem on other blackberries. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Series 60 on iPhone issue. Please help!
I was playing with the options of Flyertalk mobile on my iPhone and changed the theme(?) setting to "Series 60". Now everything is displayed in text only and I cannot input anything to change the option. Can the admin please reset this for me?
Thanks!

As for me, FT WAP is useless the last 2 days for posting replies. Clicking the Post button does nothing in the internal web browser. Using Opera Mini, I get repeated XML parsing errors. When I reparce as HTML, the pages display. Posting still does not work.

Maybe even easier: I just noticed that I can log in from my laptop to www.flyertalk.com/wap
You used to not be able to do that, so I don't know if this is a bug or a feature....

See Post #167 for my solution to your problem. And officially, WELCOME TO FLYERTALK!

still trouble on WAP with iPhone
The easiest thing to do is to grab a freind's cell phone or PDA and navigate to www.flyertalk.com/wap on their device. Login, fix your settings, logout --> iphone happy again.
Now that the WAP site is accessible through a standard web browser, I've tried to login and "fix" this iPhone problem. But still no joy, in Firefox all I get is a page full of XML tags and text that won't allow me to get to the menu and change the setup.
Can SOMEONE on Flyertalk PM me that might be able to help fix this for me? Anyone? Bueller?
I'll give you access to my FT account, so you can try to change the settings from another WAP device. After which I'll change my account password
. I will be grateful to you for your help.THANK YOU

i had the same problem and finally got a solution. create a new file on your desktop with a .html extension (ie test.html)
paste this into the file:
first goto wap site on your pc browser and login. then open the file you just created and click update.
paste this into the file:
Code:
<form action="http://gallery.flyertalk.com/wap/insertpref.php" method="post"> - <div class="tdiv"> <div class="ttitlediv">WiStyles</div> - <div class="forminputtext"> <small>Wireless Forum Themes:</small> </div> - <div class="containerPOSTER"> <div class="spacer"/> </div> - <select name="WiStyleP"> <option value="default" selected="selected">default</option> <option value="Series60">Series60</option> </select> <br/> <input type="submit" value="Update"/> </div> </form>
I've still not been able to change my mobile flyertalk account back from Series 60 to something that is compatible with my iphone.

I am running WM6 Professional on my HTC Touch (XV6900) and it seems to be working fine. I do have one question regarding when you read posts on a thread. Currently it displays them with the OP first and so on like it normally does viewing online. Is there a way to reverse the chronological order so the newest post on a thread appears first?
