Glad to hear it wasn't just my new phone!

(Hey, while we're at it... It would be nice to add a plain text link to FT Wireless from the main ft.com page. I could not find the address for mobile.flyertalk.com until I logged in on my laptop and found it in the menus at the top of the page. Those menus don't appear like that on most phone browsers.)

Any word on why mobile access is down... or when it might be back up? I'm traveling tomorrow, and I really miss being able to access FT on the go!

WAP has been down for me since friday 10/19. I try at least 20 times a day but it always returns that the sever has timed out.

Any solutions to this problem ? ? ?

WAP is still not working for me....

After tryring every possible address to get to the WAP site, I continue to get this message on mt BlackBerry-8800: "The server returned the following error while attempting to fulfill your request: 'Connection Timed Out'".

Is there any info on this? Is there a new address? Is WAP having problems? Any answers???

Thonas!

I PM'ed with an FT tech guy a couple days ago, and he said that both mobile.flyertalk.com and www.flyertalk.com/wap were working for him (and both redirected to the gallery.flyertalk.com... page). None of these is working for me, from either my desktop or Treo. He said some other group was in charge of wireless tech and that he'd forward my comments.

Can anyone confirm that they are able to access the wireless site through any of these addresses? It would be nice to know if this problem is somehow specific to some users.

I can confirm that mobile.flyertalk.com is NOT working, coming from a phone in the Chicago area.

gallery.flyertalk.com/wap is not working for me as of right now.

Other wap sites are working fine on my phone (T-Mobile SDA Smartphone).

The error looks like this:

HTTP ERROR: 504

Gateway Timeout

RequestURI=/wap/
No idea what that means, but maybe someone here does???

It would be really great if someone would provide some kind of update or at least "I won't be able to take a look until ..."

This is getting ridiculous to have post after post of "Not working here"

The tech guys won't be able to take a look until ... today

Apologies for the lack of response on this issue. Actually, they have been looking, but other issues keep popping up and have taken precedence. Looks like this one has reached the top of the list though, so, fingers crossed, it will be resolved soon.

It's always difficult to say how soon "soon" is, but I feel confident we can say it will be fixed sooner rather than later

Thanks very much! It's nice not to be in limbo anymore!
