Only thing that worked for me. |

I offered that fix in the past for folks with smaller providers (not on o365). Being on o365 I assume you’ll want your service to work with such a huge provider - or are you saying that making a change fixes some kind of tech problem specifically on your side? If that is the case then changing and changing back should work?

Maybe. Mostly I'm just trying to narrow down what the specific problem could be, so I can report to tech (they'll ask if it send correctly to a different email).

My last thread update notices by email were September 8th. Is anybody working on fixing this problem?

It is a problem with this site. Mine started working again randomly a few days ago without me doing anything. No other forum has this issue over and over and over again.

I came here to see why I haven't received notifications of quotes of my posts. In fact, the "your notifications" no longer even lists new post quotes -- it used to. Something appears to have changed.

I'm still seeing it?
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7b09900f28.png :eek:K - I think I figured it out. At some point I installed the Firefox extension "uBlock Origin" and not only does it stop the Firefox notifications from FT, but it also seems to actually rewrite the pages so not all of the menu items that should be displayed are displayed. I guess I need to dig into that a bit deeper, but that is clearly the source of this problem. Sorry to bother you, IBJoel. |
Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I'm experiencing similar email issues. I'm a new member and I joined to follow a specific thread. I subscribed and selected "instant email notification." I received one notification of a new post (the day after I joined), but since then...nothing. The thread has had about 10 new posts over the past week and I haven't received notifications for any of them. FWIW, a coworker of mine also created an account and subscribed to the same thread....he also got the same results (i.e. 1 notification and then nothing after that). Any thoughts?

From the email text: There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again. All the best, FlyerTalk Forums |

Between your first visit and this one, have you been logging on to the forum to read the updates? It requires a login to reset, otherwise only 1 email is received.
From the email text: I think that may be the issue (i.e. not visiting the thread quickly after the email notification). Is there any way to get an email for every new post (regardless of whether I've visited recently)? Or is there a "feed" of thread posts that I can pickup? |
I haven’t been receiving any email notifications from subscribed threads for the past couple of weeks. I’ve checked my settings and they are all on ‘instant email’ notification and I’’m subscribed to a lot of threads that have had activity. I don’t really want to change email addresses. Are there any other known fixes or something I can toggle to get them going again?
