Not receiving subscribed threads email summaries or PM notification emails
This is the second day in a row. I haven't received email summaries of my subscribed threads. Is this something specific to my account or is it affecting everyone?

Subscription Notification Emails Stopped
Starting yesterday, I stopped receiving subscription notification emails for no apparent reason. I receive anywhere from 4-10 daily subscription notifications. When I look at my subscription notification settings, I see them all there, showing daily. Furthermore, there are new posts on most of the threads, so it's not due to a lack of activity. I also checked my junkmail. Any suggestions?

Ensure your email is whitelisting FlyerTalk. I can't find a commonality in your emails and I was able to receive my subscribed daily forums/instant tech forum posts emails

I am motivated to help solve this, so let me know what I can do to help troubleshoot. One thing to start with might be for someone to send me a PM to see if I get email notification of that. I didn't realize I could send PMs to myself. I just did, and received the email notification. So either the problem is fixed (we won't know until tomorrow morning) or it affects the subscription emails but not other emails comms. |
I am having the same issue. Initially, I attributed the problem to my changing domain hosts yesterday. Now I am not sure.

I'm having the exact same problem....... this is the 3rd day now with no emails. I have tried re-subscribing to forum subjects yesterday but that didn't help.

Having the same issue. I did receive one "instant" subscription for a thread yesterday but all my daily subscriptions are nowhere to be found

Just another data point: no daily emails here either. Topics did have new posts. Last subscribed thread emails were received on Monday.

Adding myself to the list. I'm not getting daily subscription emails. I am getting instant notification emails on those threads where I asked to be notified immediately. It's just the overnight ones that are not coming through.

As suggested by the series of posts before this one, the problem still remains. Unless a different email server is used to send the overnight updates than the other types of emails that users have reported receiving. It seems to be a problem with the overnight process and not anything related to the email system itself

OK I basically took everyone's email address and sent them to tech, explaining the problem

I not suffering from this problem now, but I have in the past. For about 3 years from around 2019 to 2022 I couldn't get any email from Flyertalk, but emails suddenly started to flow at the point of the last significant changes occurred to the forum a few months ago, no changes on my end.

Mine is a Gmail. Maybe there is a pattern to this? |
I didn't get the digests overnight. Since I get other notification emails, this does not seem to be an email issue.

Yes guys, we're still looking at this. Keep in mind that we're off at about 5pm Pacific, so unless there's something on the scale of a site crash, we stop working around then. I know many of you are in different timezones, so it seems like we aren't doing anything during working hours where you are located

We're not seeing any bounces on our end. Would someone like to try unsubscribing from and then re-subscribing to one of their daily emails?

I assume you have logs of all outgoing messages on your SMTP server. Can you check to see if they're shown there? |

I just found this thread thank goodness. I've been experiencing the same thing. I only get a few emails of posters responding to a thread that I have subscribed to, but i don't receive a daily wrap up email notification of any topics that I subscribe to.

Same here, nothing coming through.
Changed email address from [email protected] to [email protected] Unsubscribed and resubscribed The zero emails applies to both instant and daily summaries NADA! Do get an email notification of message though. Hopefully the techies will find something ASAP |

May I request assistance please from the UK.
I have just signed up to NordVPN and am no longer receiving daily updates from the forums I am following. I have tried changing the VPN destination to the US from the UK but no success. The only way is to disable the VPN and then I can receive the daily updates. What have I done wrong ? Thanks |

I am in UK and have had Nord VPN for several years now. It originally ended up in a lot of sites blocking access to the IP addresses it was using. That has much reduced to very few sites now.
However FT and Expert Flyer both need Nord to be disabled before allowing access. Easy enough to do that especially if you choose the option to temporarily disable for 5 mins, 30 mins or so. Saves having to remember to renable it. A nuisance, sure, but not in the grand scheme of things. I'm still not getting the email updates though as in post yesterday |

Not getting the subscribed emails
Just to add me to the list. I haven't been getting emails since the end of last month. Have tried subscribing to new threads with instant notification and nothing happens. Am using hotmail with outlook.
