NordVPN

May I request assistance please from the UK.
I have just signed up to NordVPN and am no longer receiving daily updates from the forums I am following. I have tried changing the VPN destination to the US from the UK but no success.
The only way is to disable the VPN and then I can receive the daily updates.
What have I done wrong ? Thanks

Although there are two things at play in your statement above, and FT has additional security that doesn't play nice with the perceived to be higher risk IP addresses known to be used with public VPNs like Nord, actually it seems the crux of your issue is lack of daily update emails which is being discussed in an existing thread

Yeah some NordVPN servers play nice with IB/FT and others error out. Guess it increases slightly my productivity when I can access FT that often hehe

I am in UK and have had Nord VPN for several years now. It originally ended up in a lot of sites blocking access to the IP addresses it was using. That has much reduced to very few sites now.

However FT and Expert Flyer both need Nord to be disabled before allowing access. Easy enough to do that especially if you choose the option to temporarily disable for 5 mins, 30 mins or so. Saves having to remember to renable it.

A nuisance, sure, but not in the grand scheme of things.

I'm still not getting the email updates though as in post yesterday

Not getting the subscribed emails

Just to add me to the list. I haven't been getting emails since the end of last month. Have tried subscribing to new threads with instant notification and nothing happens. Am using hotmail with outlook.

Euhm, I also have NordVPN and Gmail.

I get the new posts of the new topics in the Preliul fares where I am subscribed to. There it is instant notification

but the daily emails are not arriving.

Admin: do they get produced?

I did get one instant email notification for Post 38 from IBJoel but nothing for subsequent posts.

And still not getting the daily emails since last month.

I'm using an Outlook mail address now after switching from iCloud to try and sort things but no joy.

Regarding the NordVPN issue I think that is likely unrelated. Only use Nord on Imac (not on iPhone/iPad) but not getting emails on any platform. And yes. I have checked spam folders! Using Spark Mail program on all platforms. I have checked online Outlook mail and still nothing there so it's very likely not a Spark problem.

Hopefully the techies will find something soon!

No weekly summary emails on Mondays for me either for the 3 threads I subscribe to. I think they stopped 2 weeks ago. Administrator, kindly add me to the list. (I dont use Gmail for these so it would appear to be a wider issue than the email service provider). Thank you.
