Would a Dark Mode skin be possible?
I admit I might be getting spoiled by other websites that have a Dark Mode option available (Facebook, Reddit, etc.), but after looking at those other sites, the bright white of FlyerTalk is starting to become rather jarring to my eyes.
Has there been any consideration for trying to get a Dark Mode skin option on FlyerTalk?

I believe it's been brought up before. I'll ask tech if that can be implemented.

In the absence of any upvoting scheme for feature requests, +1 for this from me

You must be new here
I'm still waiting from 4+ years ago for a feature that IMO seems blindingly obvious for a group that caters to frequent travelers, is trivial to implement, and can easily be made opt-in
Automatically detect time zone?

Basically this is a core feature that needs to go through multiple teams to implement

Would you and your teams like to speak to them so they can help you folks out?

I'm familiar with a couple of other enthusiast forums that have the same overall look and they have had a dark mode option for 20 years.

They do not use the same forum software as we do. It's not really a matter of being difficult, more about time to develop/implement versus workhours. We could implement it on FlyerTalk alone and then it would immediately break (and likely destroy formatting for everyone) when we update the site, since it isn't part of the vBulletin 3.9.X core software.
