Don't forget that I haven't changed anything on my iPhone or PC.
The problem is obviously NOT related to the format of the photos, as this hasn't been changed either.
It's maybe a problem with the account (perhaps simply a limit on the number of photos posted that was set one day in a program, for whatever reason).

i used to have the same problem on my iphone SE,
workaround is to just bluetooth airdrop to ipad and then upload
.,..,,,,
actually my iphone now allows uploading again,
- latest ios + apps
- low data mode on
- javascript on
- request desktop setting
- advanced : webkit feature flag : restore default
or
- general / reset / network settings
My kids explained that Apple pushes a lot of useless crap with each update and as such all your usual settings get confused. Especially now that we get a lot of junk AI modules integrated ....
Resetting : network settings should help,
Beware: though ... one must refill in passwords for known networks again the applicable passwords so note them down first
Or if all else fails ... pop over to Apple store to show the problem and they can toggle the right settings

Actually, now that I think about it, have you downloaded a small test JPG/PNG from elsewhere on the web and tried uploading as a test?

Nicolas, you can also try emailing me the photo at [email protected] and I can try testing

Thank you for your message.
Yes, Ive tried with a test JPG/PNG from elsewhere on the web, and the issue remains the same.
That said, I noticed that I can upload my photo when accessing My Albums in the Flyertalk interface (not the iPhone pictured albums).
This leads me to think that FlyerTalk may have a limit on the total number of images posted

As agreed, I will send the photos via an iCloud link.Thank you for your efforts in trying to resolve this issue, and wishing you a Happy New Year!

Test. Seems to be working on my end.
I don't know of any restrictions we have on number of photos uploaded (and at the moment you have sort of an arbitrary number)
Maybe there's a total data limit to albums, I can ask tech
With the link you sent me, you were only trying to upload one or a few of the photos at a time, correct? Not all 83?

However, Id like to clarify a few points as the issue persists:
1. If you are able to upload the photos on your end, it clearly indicates that the problem is not with the photos themselves, as I have been trying to emphasise. I have had no issues with any other uploads since.
2. The limit I mentioned does not refer to the number of photos per post (which is set at 100). Rather, I was referring to a possible total limit of photos uploaded by a single account across different posts.
3. As I highlighted earlier, I am able to upload photos directly from my Flyertalk albums without issue. How does that reconcile with the problem Im experiencing?
4. More importantly, how do we move forward? The root cause of the issue remains unclear, and Id like to work towards a resolution.
Could you please confirm if there is indeed a total data limit for accounts , as you mentioned youd check with tech?
Your assistance in clarifying this and helping resolve the matter would be much appreciated.
Looking forward to your feedback.

IBJoel Thank you for your response.

I'm aware. You have 32,911 images in your post photos album. The arbitrary number I was referring to.
3. As I highlighted earlier, I am able to upload photos directly from my Flyertalk albums without issue. How does that reconcile with the problem Im experiencing?
Those photos are already being hosted by us, so they're already on our servers. Image uploading on our sites functions by uploading the image onto our servers, then pulling/displaying the image via its URL.

There doesn't seem to be

I keep saying it I have not changed the format of my photos, which have never caused any issues before.
If you take the time to review the posts Ive contributed to (as the main contributor of this post, you will clearly see that Ive never had any trouble uploading photos.
Given how this matter has been dragging on with little regard for contributors, I am seriously considering ceasing to add value to FlyerTalk and instead publishing my reviews on a personal internet site.

Thank you for your message.
Yes, I’ve tried with a test JPG/PNG from elsewhere on the web, and the issue remains the same.

This leads me to think that FlyerTalk may have a limit on the total number of images posted

- Have your cleared your cache/cookies?
- Disabled all blocking software/plug-ins?
- Disabled any VPNs?
- Tried a different browser?

Thank you for your message.
I would like to respond to each of your questions in the order you posed them, while also clarifying why these suggested causes seem unlikely given the context of this issue:
1. Have I cleared my cache/cookies?
Yes, I have cleared the cache and cookies on both my iPhone and PC. However, since the problem persists across multiple devices and browsers, it is unlikely that this is related to cached data.
2. Have I disabled all blocking software/plug-ins?
I am not using any ad blockers or similar plug-ins that could interfere with the upload process. Moreover, given that I have successfully uploaded thousands of photos under the same conditions in the past, it is clear that such interference is not a factor.
3. Have I disabled any VPNs?
I am not using a VPN. The issue occurs regardless of the network (5G, home Wi-Fi, office, hotel Wi-Fi), which rules out VPN-related interference.
4. Have I tried a different browser?
Yes, I have tried multiple browsers, including Safari, Chrome, and Edge, across different devices. The issue remains the same.
Additionally, as I have pointed out earlier, the fact that I can upload photos into my Flyertalk albums but not into posts suggests that the problem is not on my side. The discrepancy strongly indicates a potential backend issue or a specific limitation affecting my account.
To help move forward, I would suggest using my account to replicate the issue. Since you havent been able to reproduce the problem on your end, this approach could help determine whether the issue is related to account-level restrictions or specific permissions.
I have invested a significant amount of time trying to resolve this issue, which prevents me from contributing valuable content, particularly my hotel reviews.
I appreciate your willingness to engage with tech on this, and I kindly ask that you escalate the matter to ensure we can find a solution.
Thank you in advance for your continued efforts. I look forward to your feedback.
