PLEASE POST SCREENSHOTS of the FULL SCREEN and report your DEVICE TYPE, OPERATING SYSTEM, BROWSER TYPE AND VERSIONS, and COUNTRY where you are browsing from in your post.This thread is strictly for the reporting of disruptive ads, including unwanted popups, page hijscks, malware attempts, etc. related to ad content on your desktop devicePlease refrain from discussion or speculation about technical issues if they are not reports as specified here.

Admin / Tech attempts to respond to all reports speedily, but eliminating problem adverts may require communication with advertisements suppliers or devising technical solutions that may require time. Just cleared browser/cookies and will report back in the next day or so if that helped (I can tell you that immediately after doing that I'm still getting the brief audio blips).

This is all on a Win10 laptop using whatever the current version of Chrome is. New desktop skin.

Can report that everything periodically slows to a crawl after clearing cache and cookies. (I realize this would go better in the slow loading thread).

Interestingly, the difference now is that the page will usually load fine, and then slow down and eventually crash if I begin scrolling.

I didn't fully capture all the activity being indicated, but these are a few of the servers that seem to pop up over and over in the bottom left of my Chrome window:

Even with an ad blocker I have been getting those stupid prize spinnr redirect ads.

I continue to get the "burst" of audio from the ad's, and when you say a handful of people, I'll call BS... I didn't know this forum existed until last week, why not send out a PVT message to everybody on FT and see how many come to this thread and report a problem.... I'm sure your handful of people will grow.

I think I may have caught one of the audio ads. This "Don't Miss" thing seems to be appearing when the audio happens - today I heard two overlapping audio bursts and noticed the page I was on had two of the "Don't Miss" video ads.

These were also the only two ads on that page that did not have the blue AdChoices triangle that allows you to report the ad back to google...so I"m not sure where they're coming from.

Still having problems, not too sure why Tech people just disable the script that downloads these video and then fix it. Why do we have to continue to have t his problem?

We are working on this. It did in fact stop, due to our actions, for at least several weeks.

I know it's frustrating, but this is not a FT problem -- it's an industry-wide issue. Thanks for hanging in there while we all try to figure out what to do. [MENTION=790438]IBJoel[/MENTION] please report the new instances with screen shots to the appropriate stakeholders.

I routinely browse Reddit, Gawker, Scout, CBSSports, and other forums and social media websites via the same device. FlyerTalk is the only website that has these issues.
