Actually this is one of those really nasty ones. If you accidental click the green button you just have signed up for a 9,99 subscription which gets charged to your mobile invoice. This is fraud!

+1000 to "annoying"
iPhone 6, iOS 10.2.1
this was on LAX Boingo hotspot this morning; I'd click "close" and get redirected to the "rightclub" page
interestingly enough the popup ad appeared probably 90% of the times I used my bookmark for the DL forum, but only intermittently when using bookmarks for AS and TravelBuzz

Hey guys, we're prioritizing both the German ad-charge and the "fake Facebook" that's hitting a ton of users.

it's been non-stop for me lately, to the point where i'm avoiding FT.
iPad with the latest iOS (10.3.1) using safari, from USA.
the page won't fully redirect until i hit 'close', and then will complete the redirect to (in this instance):
http://rightnetwork.club/show.php?c=...7&t=1492092100

just to report back after spending the Easter weekend at home exclusively using my cable ISP over Wifi instead of mobile internet through my cell phone carrier. I had not ONE(!) annoying advertisement which tried to forward me to some fishy page or the app store to buy some bogus app or subscription.
So, shouldn't it be easy enough to address the root cause of the issue by looking how your ad provider differentiate between mobile subscription users and landline internet?

I think I've seen a difference in wifi vs cell, but offhand I might have the opposite impression since I figured wifi was more apt to get hit with large/disruptive ads. There's also a geographic difference, as I think I'm hit more often abroad (Switzerland was pretty bad at times)--I'm not sure if this reflects the country or just that there's fewer users of FT to flag ads that should be blacklisted.

Me, definitelynot fewer ads, but the hijacks are absent. I had been putting it down to some kind of ISP-level filtering, maybe?

Yes. When using Wi-Fi there are not fewer ads, but nearly 0 dubious pr0n/warez style ads. I also strongly suspect this is due to ISP doing a level of ad-blocking/filtering.
