We understand disruptive advertisements lessen the enjoyment of your FlyerTalk browsing experience. Please post all disruptive advertisement reports here; your full report (see above) will assist Internet Brands / FlyerTalk in handling these expeditiously. Admin / Tech attempts to respond to all reports speedily, but eliminating problem adverts may require communication with advertisements suppliers or devising technical solutions that may require time. (Internet Brands operates during customary and usual work hours on the U. S. West Coast; holidays, weekends, etc. are observed.)

To see how to include a screen shot in your post, once you have taken the screen shot follow the instructions "Inserting a photo or image from your device into a post:" in the first post in the thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/techn...mage-post.html

NOTE: Internet Brands and FlyerTalk discourage the use of software that modifies your FlyerTalk browsing experience (e.g. ad blocking software). IB / FT declines all responsibility for the use of such software and can not provide support or assistance if such software is used. As well, we remind you IB / FT can only provide FlyerTalk free to members because of the financial support of advertisers; using ad blockers denies IB / FT income that would normally pay for your free community membership and browsing experience..

Posts suggesting or discussing use of ad blocking etc. software will be summarily deleted.

Not a practical solution. Also, it doesn't work.

Sorry to hear that -- it's the latest advice we have from our ad ops people. Hopefully they will be able to block this annoying popup.

I was loudly congratulated on the train this morning...and then silently again and again and again. Definitely no fix in place.

I believe Apple will be fixing this bug in an upcoming version of Mac OSX.

Been getting slammed with autoplay video ads all day today (Big Lots seems to be the advertiser in all of them - Firefox, Mac OS X, USA)

Please do not allow these to continue - I can find a way to live with ads and ad banners but the stupid autoplay videos are so annoying especially when you are working in an office. Made worse because they appear to be in the middle of the page so finding them is a pain.

I'm not really sure which ads are causing it, but recently I've noticed that FT pages slow to a crawl and frequent crash. It may to be an interaction between infinite scroll and the copious amount of large animated ads. The AmEx ads in particular are big offenders. It's getting so bad on certain pages that I can't even navigate them at all. Just crash after crash.

It's really frustrating.

See the attached photos. There's an ad between every 3 posts in certain threads and it makes it extremely laggy and difficult to even navigate at all, especially with all the animation.

My initial post was going to be about how I got several pages regarding personal lubricants. I took one screenshot, and went to take a second a second one on a different page and suddenly a hijack. It took to closing Chrome before I was able to start using my phone again. T-Mobile US, and obviously an HTC 10. The only real solution is one that will get me in trouble using this site.

That's what you get for watching porn on your phone.

Seriously though, I have been getting the same thing all day. It pops up everytime I visit a new forum or try to make a post. It is making FT unusable on my phone.

How does this crap keep slipping through IBs system?
