"FT time" is out 7 minutes . . .
Was discussed here and speedily rectified by John in November.

Clock has drifted to be now about 7 or 8 minutes out by my assessment. Not a big deal in itself, but might be part of some of the other glitches occuring lately, so pass it on for the record ... for info of John and Dan etc.

It's still about 8 minutes off. I have a clock synced to WWV.

Yes, I think Dan or Michael have to manually adjust it to correct time.

Is it something they adjust through UBB or is it the clock of the server on which FT is running which must be adjusted? I think it's more likely the latter, in which case, I'm not sure the FT tech people have direct control of it.

I think they're on some flavour of Linux, so syncing up is almost trivial. Info on ntp (Network Time Protocol) can be found here:
http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~ntp/
This can be set so the server updates itself its clock all the time, once an hour, once a day, or however often is necessary. I have my servers do this once every few hours. I'd be happy to provide any assistance needed with implementation of this.
BTW, it was exactly 21:43:00 US Eastern time as I clicked "submit" on this post the first time. Looks like we're now almost 9 minutes off...

I've set the time to match our local time. Hopefully this will resolve the problem.

Although, trust me, it's very easy. 1 binary and 1 cronjob.... just "set it and forget it" (multiple puns intended)

OK -- we've implemented NTP as requested we are time-synched with a network time server at Schreiver AFB, which is located about 10 miles from our location for those who may be curious why I chose that server.
