Dysfunctional Refund button on FlyTap
Hi, I want to cancel a fully refundable booking online via FlyTap. Every time I start the process it looks fine at the beginning. I can retrieve the booking, I can get a validation code,I can select that I want to cancel and that I want a refund to the original form of payment. However the final step which is the refund button never works. After some time elapses comes a timeout message.
When trying to get help via social media (Facebook and Twitter) I never get an answer. Given this and the plethora of complaints in the internet about TAP's refund behaviour I suspect that the IT problem might be on purpose.
Does anybody have advice hot to proceed and/or experienced the same problem?

I filed an online complaint but I will call then soon if nothing happens (what I suppose given their image).

I recently requested a refund and didn't have this problem. But I feel you that it can be so frustrating. Some of the refundable fares don't charge a fee to refund only if you request it all online on FlyTap.

Thanks! The TAP Facebook team now cancelled it. Did you get back the money quickly?

Yes! I have two recent personal data points actually:
1. Cancellation within 24hrs of booking: refund processed in 3 weekdays.
2. Cancellation of a ticket >24hrs of booking: refund processed in 7 calendar days
Both confirmed back to original payment. TBH was a little surprised I even saw refunds processed from TAP without any further effort.
Both were also requested via FlyTap online refunds site.
