That's good to know that their Social Media Team could take care of that for you. I would have never thought.

Yes! I have two recent personal data points actually:
1. Cancellation within 24hrs of booking: refund processed in 3 weekdays.
2. Cancellation of a ticket >24hrs of booking: refund processed in 7 calendar days

Both confirmed back to original payment. TBH was a little surprised I even saw refunds processed from TAP without any further effort.
Both were also requested via FlyTap online refunds site.
