I still dislike the idea of a like button, but as before I'm willing to consider the arguments.

Part of the responsibility of TalkBoard is to act as a filter to get rid of the bad ideas.

Well it being a bad idea is entirely subjective, no? I also don't think a comparison to Facebook is a bad thing, I really like Facebook in fact.

From what I remember, the difference between support and not supporting this idea last time was pretty close. There are obviously plenty who think it's a good idea.
