At least they serve Taittinger (^) and no longer that sparkling MUMM water they call champagne.

The pictures don't look too bad, IMHO. I didn't expect a copy of FRA. But it looks much better, than the old lounge.

Well, I will experience it anytime early January for the first time.

The design looks like FRA. (Or just my imagination) Yes, I agree it's much better than the old lounge. The sofas/chairs now are much more comfortable.

CGK, thanks for posting the link to your great pix. Do you recall what the food offerings were like?

Does this mean that the old first class lounge has
now become a SEN lounge?

After the refurbishing process the "old" F-CL lounge will become part of the new SEN lounge and there will also be a seperate Business Lounge.

Thumbs up One SWISS-Lounge better than Basel or LH-*G Lounge

Yesterday, I had a look in the new lounge. I liked it, food was excellent (a little bit to salty), the interiour was good. Only thing I could find: The view to the Apron is limited due to a component against sunlight or so for the gates.

This is now better than the Basel Lounge and it is also better than the LH Lounge in B.

so is this like a real "pre-flight dinner" as in "instead of dinner on the flight" or is it basicly like the FCT where you can have dinner in the lounge and then again on the plane?

will try the new lounge tomorrow on my NUE-ZRH-HKG trip

It is like the FCT or the FCLs, you can still have dinner on the flight. However they call it "pre-flight-dinner" on the printed menu at the tables. Compared to the offerings at the "old" lounge it is quite a step up.

Enjoy your trip.

right now is a good time of year to sample the offerings...it was completely deserted (ok, 5 pax in total) this morning....
and by the way, nothing wring with Mumm, as long as it is the Cordon Rouge.
But Taittinger is certainly better.
