Thanks! I hope that's right as well! :)
They're flying all the way through EZE-FRA-ZRH-BKK (but the FRA-ZRH flight only leaves at 20:45, so they have quite a lot of time in Frankfurt). |

Best Y seat on A320 /A319
We are booked in row 11 seats b and c.
Which are the bests seats on thoses planes? Right now the plane is an A320 but chnaces are that they will switch to an A319. |
Seating Thread
Swiss Seating Thread?? is your friend.
Airbus 320 has its exit row in row 11 and 12. Airbus 319 has its exit row in row 10. But are you sure that you want to have an exit row as you will not be allowed any luggage under the seat in front of you. If the plane is not booked fully, you may prefer a and c or d and f, so the middle seat might be left empty. |
I looked at the seting thread, but was looking to get "best seat" info. I do know its exit row, but doesnt mean best seat.
They said that seats a in exit row are not being assigned until check in at the airport. |
Exit row
Do not nail me down on this, but there was a time when Lufthansa tried to set a policy into place that exit rows have to be assigned at the airport.
They failed misirably. AFAIK, that you can reserve it, if you are SEN and HON in advanced. Usually, they are gone 24 hours before departure. Since the seats are all the same in nearly all Airbuses of the 320 league, there is not a good or a bad seat. Exception: Airbus 321, where the exit is located. |
"failed"... guess thats why we have our seats 2 month out...

LX40/41 - best seats in C
Flying from LAX to ZRH, can you guys recommend the best seats in C?
How can I get the seat assignment with Swiss? |
I do this flight every 6 months, they're all fine...window, aisle. Most of the time, the plane is full. If you buy on the SWISS site, you'll pick one or the other. You then can call them and get the actual seat number. Good flight, service etc. There seems to be a little more "jockeying for position" on #40 coming back. I'll be on it June 1st.

operated by Helvetic (4 aircraft) and Contact Air (2 aircraft) on several European routes Layout: Helvetic resp. Contact Air ex-Germania* *subject to confirmation Seating is 2+3. Middle seats are not blocked in C-Class C/Y: 1-20, no cabin divider. Exit rows: Helvetic: 12+13 (not yet tried out whether 11+12 are reclinable or not). Contact Air: 11+12 (not yet tried out whether 10+11 are reclinable or not) (subject to confirmation - source: Airberlin.com) The seat-layout is different because of the location of the galley. Best seats: rows 2-5 extra legspace Avoid: 20: next to the engines Contact Air - Fokker 100 - D-AGPK - no cabin divider C/Y - exit row 11+12, (only 12 is reclineable) - no more legspace at row 2-5, also no more legspace at the exit row. - last row 21 - next to the engines without a window |

Question as well whether Air Berlin has modified the layout when they integrated these planes into their fleet from Germania. I flew on them only once (as Germania), and the legroom on 3A was similarly as on Helvetic - just great. |
Best middle F seats on A330?
Traveling as a pair, which row of middle seats would you prefer?
