It's unbelivable that this incompetent people at LH have always more influence at LX. There are sure some routes that have not very high F demand or almost not at all like YUL. Hence as a economicaly compromise I could have seen the A333 going forward offering 1 row of F however the A350 and B77W's absolutely would need 2 rows of F.

I really wonder how it will all play with a reduced F cabin. Some data point on my usual LX93 GRU-ZRH bookings:
1) for 03 NOV no availability in F (I grabbed the last seat on 01 October).
2) for 15 OCT no availability in F since 15 September (when I booked last two remaining seats)
3) for 01 OCT I couldnt get a seat two weeks in advance. So, travelled on 02/10 by taking the last available F seat.
4) in August I had three flights between GRU and ZRH. On all these flights F was sold out as early as mid July.
Of course, it can be very much route specific. But I wonder whether this is a trend rather than an exception.
Maybe just because LH sells its (terrible) F so terribly bad and ends up giving cheap F upgrades left and right to AV/UA/whatnot, it may think that LX does the same

I am still having some hopes that the initial batch of A350's will be more than 5, either by reducing the A330's fleet or as a increase to add new destinations. Assuming initially it will be a 1/1 replacement of the A343, then it will be routes like JNB, KIX (if resumed eventually) and ICN (if the route will be launched). I think HKG will eventually switch back to B77W.

Yes, they want standardisation, to achieve economies of scale. Buying seats, planes, sharing partners (catering, handling, etc), maintenance. So it has to be the same seats and layout across LHG airlines. But whether there is one row or 2 row of F class on specific aircraft at LX vs. LH does not counter the principle and the benefits of standardisation. At the core it's still that (totally stupid!!) new F class product.
