I might be missinformed, but I could have sworn I read the discussion confirming this somewhere. The point of discussion was actually if the FCL access included the limo to E, which apparently some said it did and others said it didn't since SQ wouldn't pay for it. However, I can't find the discussion anymore, nor do I know if it was on vielfliegertreff or flyertalk.

Sorry for the confusion.

As soonI get response from LX I will share the answer here.
Hopefully LX ZRH F lounge remain open for HON also without F-class ticket.
No question about it. They mean open to HONs with any ticket.

Hope your question doesn’t give them ideas.

Well: Great idea! These pesky HONs lurking around the F Lounge really deteriorate my First Class experience

Even as non-HON, most of the friendly HONs do not bother me. Only the few arrogant ones ...

I was if course only joking.
I agree, HON or not, most of the people I met in the FCL were indeed quite pleasant.

With the exception of the couple beating their crying child on the FCL E terrasse to make it stop. That was quite awkward.

Not informed agent or really bad news

I got answer from Swiss.
For some reason it came not from Core Customer Care (as usually) , but from "Consultant Customer Travel Services / R1S"

But the answer is here:
Dear Mr. Raul,

Thank you for your email regarding the SWISS First Class Lounge.

We would like to clarify your query further, by informing you that only passengers with a First Class ticket can access the First Class Lounge.

Therefore, even if you are a Hon Circle member, then you would be required to at least have one of your flights booked in First class, in order to access the lounge.

We hope this information deems helpful and remain available to answer any further questions,

Thank you for choosing SWISS and we wish you a pleasant day ahead.
Kind Regards,

It may be just an not very well informed agent of course.

Same time Lufthansa Lounges still guarantee access fro HON also in ZRH F class lounge.

Actually unitl I usually travel via ZRH if there is LX F involved, but I believe, if their statement regarding access to F lounge in ZRH is true, it is significant drop of privileges.

Can anybody confirm their experience of opposite recently?

Uninformed agent. They do actually take the website as source for their information.
Same thing happened when the new SEN lounge A opened and everybody was told there would be no access for *G.

There is no way in which HONs are excluded from the FCL.

Unbelievable !

Agents with that degree of knowledge should not be working for LX, let alone writing such crap to a HON

The FCL’s at ZRH are specifically HON lounges

Some airline reps are really clueless and there are so few HONs that questions about HON privileges don’t come up every day for them. But (!), I don‘t get why they don’t ask HON service instead of providing wrong information. If it were my airline, frontline customer service agents would have to forward all questions from HONs to specifically trained HON customer service reps.

IME Core Customer care deal with all HON matters, don’t know what has gone wrong here...... as you say, this agent should not be responding without checking with the CCC team....

I did so.

Got after 20 minutes answer:
We thank you for your email regarding the first lounge access and please excuse us for any inconvenience.
We would like to inform you that we have forwarded your request to our relevant department. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.

Meantime asked same question from LH HON Circle Services and got immediate answer:
With the Hon Circle Status you have access to the all First Class Lounges of Lufthansa and Swiss as long as you're traveling with a LH/Star Alliance or Codeshare flight.
