swiss.com still says „by February“. Let‘s wait and see who‘s right.

oh yuck. Guess we'll go to the E lounge in late April then upon arriving before our connection to TFS.

I was in ZRH yesterday and couldn't be bothered to go to E so I went to the Aspire lounge. How can that cope with a normal weekday morning rush hour I don't understand. Even in a half empty airport the lounge had a lot of people wandering looking for a seat.

I have the impression LX messed up with this. I'm sure there are good reasons, but closing all lounges simultaneously does not seem like a good idea.

Could be. Was on a late SBB train recently, standards seem to be slipping in Switzerland.

In all seriousness, I don‘t care too much when the new FCL A opens, as long as they keep the old one open and the shuttle to E alive. Will see the new FCL eventually...

They specifically said it was supposed to be February but it’ll be early March. I believe them over the website lol

I'll wait for an official announcement from LX. There's no rush as the lounge is probably going to be there for quite a while.

On my last commute from F, I was the only one in Heidi train. I told the Immigration lady I was just in the lounge, she just smiled and said how hard it must for us now

There are certain times of the day, when this is actually the standard case: Nobody on the train and no line at the passport check. Going from A to E in the morning is a completely different story and the shuttle from the FCL in A to E can be a real timesaver.

No, because a SEN would not even get access to the FCL in A.

Thanks,
SInce an F pax can bring one guest to the FCLs, I would imagine that the lounge staff could/would also allow one guest to ride with the F-pax, but that's probably up to them to decide as I would not know about a published rule concerning this.
