I laid down $1,000 of MY money to Charity to any person who could illustrate I had any alias on Flyer Talk this year. Not one of the accusers was prepared to do likewise - back up the lie with MONEY. It would have been the fastest $1,000 they ever parted with - albiet Red Cross would have appreciated it. I repeat, and even some of the boneheads above may have had this FACT sink in by now .... there have been NO aliases used by me on Flyer Talk during this year, nor WILL there be.
What's past is past. Many people learnt lessons from late 2000. FT started 2001 flame free, and if Camera Guy decides to re-think his 'stalking' vendetta, I too will be more restrained, and FT will go BACK to being flame free. And THAT seems to be the concensus of all, and fine people like Jon Toner may well re-consider, as many others have clearly done in the past - way before I ever joined.
wormwood. Are not so veiled backstabbing THREATS your new debating tactic? Run off to the airlines and blabber on all the Flyer Talkers if you feel that is the friendly and decent thing to do. There were 800 posts there last month in the Coupon Connection - trading, swapping and bartering upgrades, coupons, awards and all kinds of stuff. Not SELLING like on eBay. You'll be filling in anonymous hate mail letters for days about us all. What a sad life. I do not feel that is what you really want to live with?
You've been blabbing to them already by your own admission, so we can guess the colour of your sails already. You too might reconsider your approach.
You guys are too much this morning. Try and play nice. Use more obscenities, dob in all of FT to the airlines, tip them off about the loopholes and lie all you want about things on this board. Yes, I am willing to take down the entire coupon connection if needed in order to get you. That is not a veiled threat, it is an out in the open threat.
No, I am not worried about how well liked I am here. As I have said before I am interested in you being fair to others as you expect them to be to you. I did not start the idea of people breaking rules being punished, you did. I will only finish it.
I don't care about hate mail, it is easy to delete.

Can someone explain to me the relevance of 2000 vs. 2001? Did something happen at New Years I missed? Was there some agreement that all slates were to be wiped clean and a fresh start begun? I prefer June (my b-day) for any future slate clearings, please.
Seriously though...since I joined the board it is just one big lump of time for me...sure, like a soap opera...it goes until it is cancelled...or so many important 'actors' leave it just dies.

However, I do not now nor ever "bleat". I assume that OZ's VAST intimate knowledge of sheep lead him to the word bleat...
