Seems absolutely silly that based on one bad experience, you decided that it was "the beginning of the end."
Duly chastised. Yes I did complain, but only ever so briefly to the rep on the phone and gave up after that. Grumbled that I would write but never did.

Right again! I will run out of chains worthy of my business if I'm not careful. Guess I better start my own frequent tent and sleeping bag program soon!

I had some issues with my room. When I checked out, the desk agent asked me how things were and I told her. She just had that blank look on her face like "I was just asking, I don't know what to do"

Then I remembered about the Sheraton Promise. When this was in effect, I had a bee in my room. I called the front desk and in the chaos, I was also promised the points

Anyway, I guess the program went away but I still occasionally get "Sheraton Promise" points posted for Green Choice. So, it almost seems the promise is still somewhat around in the system?

No, but the code for it is still alive in the system and sometimes a property uses it.

Thanks William. As long as you guys don't run reports for people who have "Sheraton Promise" postings and think we are trouble makers, I guess it is OK
