Any current promotions on the Heavenly, Sweet Sleeper, or W beds?

buying 2nd bed for my sister... But waiting on Promotion before pulling the trigger.
I got mine at 40% off. Definately not paying full price since shipping to Canada costs $US 250
It's June 14 today. Still waiting.

Do a search fatwallet.com for a w code as this seems to be the place where they track this heavily. Always just check the w store too....they often have a code splashed on the front page...now it probably won't be 40% though. Right now it is 20% with free shipping http://www.whotelsthestore.com/

Just checked and it is now 30% off using code DREAMS. I think it's time to order. I assume they do take away the old mattress.

UPDATE! I just used code WX4T7 and got a 40% discount. I placed my order and got a confirmation. Can't wait to sleep in my own Heavenly Bed. This code said employee discount, but worked without a problem.

I just tried both...worked at the W; did not work at the Westin.
Either way, thank you for the update.

It was the W store for the W bed. I also got the feather bed topper thing.

I've had a W bed for years and LOVE it. I also have the featherbed topper. To me it feels the same as the Heavenly Bed (I recall at the time wanting a Heavenly Bed but there was a huge sale on the W beds so I figured it was close enough ;-) )

Can someone explain the difference between the plush top mattress and the pillow top mattress? Also would getting the set as opposed to the mattress be recommended. And what is the low profile option? I think I might have an idea, but I'd like to hear from people who actually have the bed. Also, do you have the frame?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Would be interested to hear more followup impressions from owners who have had the bed for a few years. My main concern is that the bed is beguilingly soft and comfortable for a night but less so long term. I've also read some posts on other forums suggesting that there might be sagging or other issues long term, but I'm not sure if they've been successful in claiming the warranty.
I've never stayed at a W but I remember that the Westin I stayed at a couple years ago had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on. Seems like there's a hypothesis that W beds are the plush+featherbed and the Westin beds are the pillowtop model? The specs are awfully similar. Both king pillowtop bed are 13" and 1056 coils. Can current owners comment on whether "W Hotels" or "Westin Heavenly" is embossed on the top of your plush or pillow top?
Really debating which one to get and not quite sure I want to spend $200 to test drive the W bed for a night while not on the road. Leaning towards plush with a potential featherbed topper.
I'll be using my bed in a platform bed application, so I'd also be interested to hear if there's any significant difference to using the mattress alone vs. with box spring.

So I got some more information:
Spoke with the "mattress specialist" at the W Stores and was informed that
- The plush version is what the hotel uses
- The pillowtop version is, for all intents and purposes, the Westin Heavenly
- A box spring is not required with a proper platform bed, though he suggested that it would feel "firmer," in which case he recommended the featherbed to offset that
I also checked out some local mattress store offerings. The salesperson confirmed that pillowtop beds in general are notorious for flattening over time, so it's not something unique to the W/Westin models.

My mattress set arrived this morning and was set up in a few minutes--and the old one removed! It is the plush variety and has a huge W on it. I also got the feather topper and the combination is indeed heavenly. Can't wait for bed time. HOWEVER, I haven't seen this mentioned. I got the regular box springs and it is incredibly high. I should get a ladder for climbing in. I wish I had bought the low profile model. The delivery person (1800 Mattress) said they would be glad to exchange it on their next trip up here. I called customer service, but they're not open today, so I have sent an email. I hope I'll be able to make the exchange, but it is certainly a wonderful mattress and a great deal at 40% off!

I am about to order my W bed. Eagerly looking forward to it. I am still torn between
1. Plush vs. pillow top
2. Low profile vs. regular box spring (what are the respective heights from the floor, using the W bed frame?)
3. Are their accessories (sheets etc.) a good value at 40% off or should I instead shop elsewhere online?
Do any recent buyers have their perspectives to share?
