My company has us book our stays directly, by entering the code into the app or website. Starting last night I'm not able to have any nights show as available across many locations. Is anyone else having a problem right now? I've done it this way for probably 200 stays in the last three years so I know how to book stays and I can't contract the travel department until Monday at the earliest.

The corporate rates that I have access to are showing as having no availability while rooms can be booked without problem at prepaid rates, award rates, even some C&P. Has SPG started inventory control on corporate rates or invalidated a bunch of corporate rates?

At the Sheraton Annapolis (no longer SPG) last month, I had booked the AARP rate, but am clearly not in the "senior" category. The front desk lady stared at me for awhile and then boldly said, "you're not eligible for this rate, you'll have to pay the full rate."
I asked why and she furthered, "this is the AARP rate, you don't qualify." I said, "actually, you don't have to be any certain age to join AARP, you just have to be able to stomach their socialist politics."
I showed her my AARP card and she just stared at me and then eventually handed me my room key.

The Starwood contract verbiage about AARP is very consistent: you need to be 60 OR an AARP member. To be an AARP member, you can't be any age; you need to be at least 50:

FWIW, you can also be an ABA member, even if you are not an attorney. I joined 2 years ago, because the discount I received on one hotel stay exceeded the ABA membership cost by several $100.

It's because you are looking at a whole bunch of SET codes at once, that SPG likely thinks have no reasonable reason why someone would have access to all at once. Try searching one at a time, different browsers and see if I'm right

I've just searched for a room next week and set it up to show 4 different, valid, SET codes in each of the columns on the 'Compare Rates' grid, and all are displaying correctly.

These rates also apply to CARP members, and anyone can join CARP at 45.

Has anyone noticed a change or been informed by their corp travel dept about new SET codes for next year?
Some of our employee clients who book through us were not told of a code change yet, but we can't get their usual rates to come up with the numbers we've been using for each - and it's not a rate change, but rather no availability at all. Now we need to wait until their procurement dept finds the buried email somewhere that might explain this.
We also noticed some big corp names either lost or terminated their rate-specific agreements with a number of properties, which seems to imply Starwood or their franchises are losing important business accounts.

I would think that should be done well before 12/31...I have clients trying to book the first week of Jan and they can't use their assigned discounts and can't book non-refundable either. Very frustrating.

It's not only corp codes. SPG50 codes aren't loaded for some hotels in January either. I use them often at these properties and all are unavailable as of today. It'll likely all be fixed in early Jan.

I just checked rates for someone in late Dec after Xmas, but before NYE and their code had the 'check available dates' message...so out of curiosity, I checked a few more codes and they had the same message, and only one client's code worked...so it appears the hotels are pulling the space early.
