I see another unannounced change has been corrected. Schloss Fuschl was briefly at Cat 5, but is now back at Cat 6. Fortunately it was bookable, including C&P, until September 2014.

Uaaaa! Funny! It's a pity I am not going to AUT anytime soon... I was checking hotels on and around 03/05 for the hotels I needed. Alfonso in Seville didn't go to 5 from 6 even for a minute

I think I am losing my mind! In early March, I booked a number of reservations at the Park Sheraton at the Anaheim Resort in anticipation of the announced change from Category 3 to Category 4. I thought that it actually changed on 3/5 as predicted. But today it is listed as a Category 3???? -- Suzanne

This is just my humble opinion here, but I think we need to come to an understanding that the pre-change notification is always going to be subject to change. I haven't seen an announcement yet that stood at 100% since the day we began to do this. It reflects the best knowledge at the time SPG makes the announcement so members can make as informed a decision as possible in advance of the category changes going through, but there are always going to be a handful of properties that have their category status reviewed and adjusted accordingly.
Best regards,

It is not a nice way to take the money and points in such a way out of the dearest clients pockets!

Hi members,
We've received a couple of inquiries with regards to the category level of Aloft Denver International Airport hotel.
Unfortunately, as there was an unanticipated last minute change made, the property will remain as a Category 3 and will not be undergoing any changes this time round.
We’re sorry for the misinformation and we would like to remind that the pre-change notification listing is always going to be subject to change.
