The Elite Thank You program ended on December 31, 2017. You have until June 30, 2018, to award your Thank You certificates to SPG associates.

A great way to say thanks -

You expect and deserve outstanding service from SPG®. So when an associate goes above and beyond to make your stay, it’s nice to have a special way to express your thanks.

That’s what Elite Thank You certificates are all about. Print yours now to make the day of every deserving SPG associate who receives one.

Remember: All SPG associates and customer care agents are eligible to receive Elite Thank You certificates. Enjoy giving them — and we’ll keep looking for ways to earn them.

What is an Elite Thank You?
It's a certificate that an elite member can use to recognize a Starwood associate who provided outstanding service, whether in person or over the phone.

Who is eligible to receive an Elite Thank You?
All Starwood associates in Customer Contact Centers or hotels that participate in the Starwood Preferred Guest® program are eligible, including but not limited to associates at the front desk, reservations line, concierge desk, bellhop service, restaurants, housekeeping, fitness centers, business centers and so forth. To give a certificate over the phone, just tell the associate you'd like to give him or her an Elite Thank You, then provide the unique code on the certificate.

Can I use an Elite Thank You certificate more than once?
No. Each Elite Thank You certificate has a unique code that can be used only once, so it can be given to only one person.

Can I give multiple Elite Thank You certificates to a single person?
Yes.

Can I get more Thank You certificates?
Members are eligible to request certificates when they renew or upgrade their elite status. No additional certificates can be requested.

How long are the Elite Thank You certificates valid?
Please see your certificates for the expiration date.

If you have his email you could scan the card or give the number... that's what I did but then I had the person's personal email so I was sure it got to him.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't (I had given these certs no thought at all until they turned up so all I've been able to do so far is leave praise in the follow-up survey).

I gave a couple to the girl at the front desk who gave us a room upgrade at the Westin KOR on Maui. After I saw the room (Partial ocean view 1BR, when we had booked island view studio), I went back down and gave her the certificates.
They must have some value to the employees, because she came out from behind the desk and gave me a hug.

I request for plat thank you cert for this year after my plat requal.
But it show expired date on FEB-2015.
Too fast to expired. Can i request new one for longer expired date?

Can't wait to try them in Washington DC cause I gave a couple in Asia but no hugs.

Can you tell me for what time for request new platinum thank you for new expiration date (expired 2016)? that will be benefit for future of my/FT request?
Because when i request this new one after qualify and think that Plat thank you will expired in same time of new platinum.

The way I see it, every time you qualify for your status, you can then use the link to request more cards, which expires February of the following year.

So I believe if you want a Thank You card with an expiration date of Feb 2016, you can request it in 2015 after your re-qualify your status.

Yes i request that after i qualify,> 50 night this year (exp feb 2016) but i received thank you card exp feb 2015
