CAI-NRT is shown as 2-class 777, which is the new 77W with the lie flat business class. Travelling MS in F is nowadays a good premium economy at best. I wonder how many people are caught out by the ignorance of travel agents who assume all classes are essentially equivalent across carriers.

I believe Thai has stopped (suspended?) first class service between BKK and PVG. I don't see any announcement but F in that segment isn't bookable any longer.

edit: just got off the phone with the reservation manager in LAX (nice guy!) and he confirmed BKK-PVG F being pulled. There's apparently discussions about redeploying the birds to Australia. First class service to Shanghai may recommence after March.

Currently ICN-HKG-ICN day flight sold as 3 class, only the night flight sold as 2 class.
The ICN-LAX route is a 747 with first class on the 7x/week flight, and a 777 without first class on the 3x/week flight.

Looks like LH will not be offering F for FRA-PHL vv when the Northern Daylight Savings schedules kick in on Mar 27.

YYZ-DUS looks like it has F service again this summer

According to KVS:

LH 472 DUS-YYZ 1,4,5,6,7 May 27-Oct 6
LH 473 YYZ-DUS 1,4,5,6,7 May 27-Oct 6

3 Class A330-300.

Service looks to start beginning of May with less frequencies.

TAM is no longer a future partner.

TK needs update. No more F on LHR. HKG is still running. NRT seems to be dropped.

The first page lists various aircraft that do and do not have first class by airline. Under LH you have the 346 (A340-600) as not having first class; however, most of the 24 346's that LH has DO have First. Only a few don't. Many of the flights out of Munich that are listed under LH are with the 346. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to tell from the timetable, since LH doesn't differentiate according to Seatguru.

To name a few, CA also has F on:

PEK-ARN
PEK-CDG
PEK-CAN

PVG-FRA
PVG-MXP

Edit:
CA Aircraft selection with F:

744/74E
340
777 (777-200 ER, but in timetable 3 class is 777, 2 class is 772)
763
77W in Sept 2011 and onward.

LH now has:

MUC-PUS via ICN
MUC-PVG
MUC-HKG
MUC-PEK
MUC-EWR

DUS-MIA

They no longer serve MUC-DEN

LX now serves ZRH-SFO

UA now serves:

ORD-BRU
ORD-GRU
LAX-PVG

In July UA will serve EWR-ZRH and EWR-BRU.

In September they will no longer have IAD-CDG with F.

Hello all,

I am trying to create an itinerary that maximizes the first class routes... I am just playing around with the ANA tool to see availability and for some reason there is 0 F-class availability for any flights from EWR/JFK/IAD to ZRH... Why is this? I am looking at exactly 330 days out, so unless someone already booked the seats released today, I don't understand why nothing is showing up.

Any insight?
