And yes the miles you earn depend on BOTH your operating airlines and your FFP airline. Check wheretocredit.com for your route.

Thank you, where did you pull this up from? Can I use a website like ITA Matrix to pull all the rules?
Also is there information on how the pricing works for RTW? Is it a combination of
`Base Fare Starting city multiplier miles flown stopovers + taxes`?
Or specific airlines / routes cost more than others for example, is NRT->ZRH with Swiss is more expensive than ICN->MUC with Lufthansa? Is it affected because some airlines have price their tickets with low fare but very high fuel surcharges?

I credited to Aeroplan and received full Miles & SQMS & SQD.
FTalker Quail does my *RTW bookings.
I suggest you reach out to Quail for Y or F class bookings & how each *A airline will credit to their FF program.

There is a base fare depending on the country the RTW is originating from, the cabin class and the amount of miles required for your itinerary (26,000 / 29,000 / 34,000 / 39,000).
On top of the base fare you will have to pay taxes, fees and fuel surcharges which depend on the airports you are visiting and the airlines you are taking.
The fare class on RTW tickets is determined by the fare rules. How many status miles and redeemable miles you will get for these tickets will solely depend on the program you intend to credit these flights to. We can give you more detailed information if you tell us which program you have in mind.
If you book codeshare flights as part of your RTW ticket, the accrual will likely depend on the booking class the codeshare booking class is mapped into of the operating airline.

You can check RTW fares by searching fares from the same city (e.g. LAX LAX) and using the *A carrier of your choice.
