I've noticed some other anomalies out of there lately. It started when someone on the AF board was asking about AF out of Canada to Paris to Ouagadougou [on a separate ticket]. I found that if he went to WAW instead and flew back to CDG that a lot of money was saved flying in F.

Obviously the consolidated list is a moving target especially if denominated in USD - but I too would like an update. What I really need is just this:

- What are the 5 or so countries spread across at least 3 continents that are the least expensive places to start an F or J class Star 39K RTW ticket, using USD, provided:

- It is relatively easy to buy a ticket there, through an airline office or reliable travel agency, and

- The required UA award miles to get there from the U.S. in J class does not exceed 100K (for example Oceania is probably bad because a J award is 120K as I recall, much more than Australia/NZ).

Anyone want to take on this challenge? :D

I would love to see an answer to Explore's second point, and/or the name of a good Star RTW savvy agent in Canada who can sell SOTO to me and Fedex the tickets directly. Please!! :D

Also, Anyone have pricing Ex-Slovenia? Would that be less than the main Euro area I hope? I will be there in January and need to start a RTW at that time and was hoping not to have to fly all the way to Latvia to do so.

I notice that the latest Star Electronic Timetable still doesn't have any Adria flights loaded.

Looks like the 5% price increase in November was wide spread ... also applied to THailand .......... just bought a CRWSTAR3 -- list was 237,100 Baht and with the US$ weakening THB 39.1 = US$ 1.00 ...= USD 6,048
