Discounts on *A RTW fares
 

While I agree to use published fares on the chart -- PLEASE lets share the info on which agents/operators are discounting these fares in what countries -- so we can take advantage of it.

I have had recent experience with travel.com.au ...initially for a *A RTW ...ended up with *A Circle Pacific in Business instead .... they actually reduced the price of the fares from what was on their website -- which (as discussed here) is already lower than published fare .. 5% off published is generally do-able from them.

Hope it may be the same in Cairo and Bangkok....

That's good. Do they also discount at travel.co.nz (NZ branch)?

IIRC, travel.co.nz was bought by someone else a year or so ago, and now has no affiliation with the .com.au site. Since the changes were implemented it is also a far less useful resource for checking fare rules etc.

Thank you very much for looking up a bunch of rates, especially for finding the cheapest Europe’s RWSTAR “hot-spot”, bertheike!

On special request I included currency conversion for FRWSTAR2 fares. In doing so, I used the Interbank rate published for 6/12/04. Please use this conversion only as an indication (rates fluctuate!) and bear in mind that your bank will charge you a more unfavourable rate (when I am updating the conversion, I will use oanda’s “+ 2% typical credit card rate”).

OP also includes a link for information about airport taxes, passenger service charges, security fees etc. This feature might be helpful to calculate surcharges (my estimation: USD 25,--/segment)

Thanx Patron for the update s... I have been reading a lot on ex-CMB (Colombo, Sri Lanka) fares on some *A carriers (such as the US$1400 to $1500 Business Class fare Clombo-Singapore-SFO return on Singapore Air ...a STEAL....

So, I am a little bit suprised their *A RTW fares are so much higher ..

also is F class the same for STAR1 and STAR2 or a typo ??

These are at least 12 months old, so not sure how much faith to put in them, but at the least it gives some idea of the pricing structure ex Fiji.

$1 FJD is currently about 0.46 euros

Al B, if the Fiji prices are current, then Fiji prices will be lower than Cairo.
