Only 1 flight in May works, and I do have plenty of flights all over May ... The only one that works is a West coast flight SAN-LAS on 5/13. The other 6 flights on the East coast from 5/2 to 5/31 do NOT have the red line and are not allowing me complimentary changes.

I think I also found out why this round of changes happened and why it's different - https://www.wsj.com/articles/boeing-...ts-11617972277
Electrical issue on 737 MAX planes. SW says 30/58 of its MAXes were involved and have been removed from flying.

It’s definitely origin/destination based. I have like 6 trips booked and haven’t had the red bar on any in over a month and I check them daily.
Also not all 737Max flights are impacted. I have a trip on one on April 16th and no red banner waiver to change.

I think if you get emails and don't visit the thread stream it stops emailing but I could be wrong, but in the email it says, "There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again" so make sure you visit the forum to keep getting updates.
