But cool story.
She says Chase processed a refund. I have no reason to doubt it. Pretending we're all about helping ended a long while ago.

OP is the new kid.

And this is the 8th grade cafeteria.

Gate Departure
03:00PM CST
Scheduled 02:55PM CST
Takeoff
03:11PM CST
Scheduled 03:05PM CST
Taxi Time: 11 minutes
Average Delay: Less than 10 minutes

ARRIVAL TIMES

Landing
04:46PM CST
Scheduled 04:38PM CST
Gate Arrival
04:51PM CST
Scheduled 05:00PM CST

2:25 would have been the boarding time on the BP.

I believe Chase did a temporary refund - but has not yet done a full/permanent refund. I do believe the OP thinks they got one.

We are still unable to confirm the flight in question.

Agree. There is no way Chase gave her an unconditional refund. She has an unwelcome surprise waiting down the line.

This.

If Chase did this, it did so out of its own pocket as this is not about a refund, but rather a chargeback and that means asking WN to explain the circumstances. Chase does routinely fully grant small dollar chargebacks because they aren't worth investigating, but this isn't one of those.

To paraphrase from the opening post: "...you do know most people consider boarding time the same as flight time, right?"

Nice catch. If so, there seemed like lots of time to correct matters.

BTW I don't think we are piling on the OP, we are wannabe detectives and auditors by nature and really want to understand / solve the mystery...

Totally agree with this.

Just trying to UNDERSTAND what took place here. Lots of stuff has been a bit confusing.

Looks like it is a 2:55 flight - not a 2:25 flight
Looks like OP may have had a BP and not a ticket when they went to TSA.
Flight was changed at the ticket counter and OP accepted that and tried to change at the gate.

Confirming it would settle what? She says the counter agent gave away her seat by printing out a BP for a later flight and that the GA couldn't switch it back. No system can validate two BPs and flight numbers on same-day PNR and city pairs.

You earlier posted that "OP failed again by not dealing with issue" at the counter, that it was "not really worth any more time" and begrudged a "hit-and-run" post.

The OP tried to make her original flight on a changed itinerary. Confirming the flight in question is overkill.

Lets not forget she came here asking for advice. And casting conspiracy theories that her seat was given away by nasty employees.

"Is there any better options? Should I just file a billing dispute with my credit card? Card is Chase Sapphire if it maters"

To properly advise, one needs a clear timeline of events. Information has been far less than clear, concise and consistent.

BTW, the BNA-HOU-DAL flight was 30 minutes late, not 3 hours. Although there were many other possibility including 3 more non stops later that Sunday.

Getting the original flight number is essential to start nailing down a story. Just good ole fashion police work.

Finally, for my one flight to BNA, I jumped in a rental car and headed east. I noticed the time zone changed quickly. I wonder if an adjusted watch played a part in the time discrepancies reported.

Eastern time zone is a good hour and half or more east of Nashville airport. So... not that.

As to shutting down.... she will not be back... she did come back for two more posts - hope she comes back again to help us understand.

I am surprised this is still going, many forum mods would lock this up and say "No need to pile on"
